Dale’s Apricot Chicken Drumsticks Tuesday, June 26, 2012


12 chicken drumsticks
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 TBSP canola oil
1/4 cup apricot jam, warmed
¼ cup Dale’s Seasoning


Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. For sauce, in a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Place chicken in a slow cooker and pour the sauce evenly over the chicken. Cover and cook on low 5 to 7 hours. Lift chicken out with a slotted spoon and pour liquid into a heavy sauce pan. Stir in cornstarch mixed with water and place over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Pour over chicken and serve hot, warm or cold.
