Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Tuesday, May 20, 2008
1 9" chocolate pie crust
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
2 cups cold milk
2 4 serving size pkgs Instant chocolate pudding mix
2 cups whipped topping, thawed
Place the peanut butter in a mixing bowl. Whisk in milk gradually until fully blended. Add dry pudding mix and continue to whisk about 2 minutes or until mixture is well blended and starts to thicken. Stir in 1 cup of the whipped topping. Turn into the pie shell and chill. When ready to serve, spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over pie (you might even want to add a little more whipped topping.). It is attractive to drizzle a little chocolate ice cream topping over the pie before serving.
