What's In It Cake - Monday, September 4, 2006

Ingredients

2 cups self rising flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
4 eggs
2 tsp cinnamon
1 8 oz can crushed pineapple (drained)
1 15 or 16 oz can pork and beans (drained)
1 cup walnuts or pecans

Directions

Grease and flour a bundt pan or a tube pan. With a heavy mixer, beat the pork and beans until completely mashed. Add all remaining ingredients except nuts and beat together thoroughly. Beat in the nuts. Turn into prepared pan and bake in a preheated 350 deg oven about 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Allow to cool in the pan about 10 minutes before turning out. A nice caramel glaze is good with this cake
