Praline Topping for Pumpkin Pie Tuesday, November 21, 2006

Ingredients

1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp nutmeg
4 TBSP melted butter

Directions

Bake your favorite 9 inch pumpkin pie (or a frozen one) and allow it to cool. Mix all ingredients together and sprinkle evenly over top of pie. Place about 4 inches from the preheated broiler and cook until the top is glazed and bubbly. Allow to cool and serve at room temperature. Be careful. This topping burns easily.
