Crunchy Cheese Crackers

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp hot sauce (I like Tabasco best)
2 cups puffed rice cereal

Directions

Cream butter, cheese and hot sauce until well blended. Beat in flour. Stir in rice cereal until well mixed. Shape into small balls (about 3/4 inch) and flatten on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 350 deg oven about 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on the cookie sheet a couple of minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an air tight container. Will keep for a couple of weeks but you will probably have finished them before that.
