A Certified Angus Beef Recipe from Chef Michael Ollier
3 pound Certified Angus Beef ® split strip roast*
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/3 cup BKW® Steak Rub
*Note: ask your butcher to cut a strip loin in half lengthwise
1.) Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Brush strip roast evenly with oil and coat with Steak Rub.
2.) Grill strip roast, rolling roast every three to five minutes to develop a good crust on all sides. Grill to desired doneness, using an instant-read thermometer to check doneness.
3.) Place roast on cutting board to rest 5-10 minutes; slice thinly against the grain.
