Cranberry-Walnut Cabbage Slaw Wednesday, June 26, 2013


1/4 cup reduced fat mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 TBSP sweet-pickle relish
1 TBSP honey mustard
1 TBSP honey
1/4 tsp white or black pepper
1/8 tsp salt
5 cups shredded green cabbage (I use precut slaw mix)
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup each, finely chopped celery and onion
1/4 cup dried cranberries


In a small bowl stir together mayonnaise or salad dressing, pickle relish, honey mustard, honey, white or black pepper, and salt. In a large mixing bowl combine cabbage, walnuts, celery, onion, and cranberries. Add mayonnaise mixture to cabbage mixture and toss to coat. Cover and chill at least 1 hour or up to 6 hours. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
