Ham and Swiss Quiche Thursday, September 20, 2012


8 large eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 teaspoon kosher salt.
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup ham, chopped small
1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese


Preheat oven to 375 deg. In a large bowl, combine the beat the eggs. Whisk in cream and salt and pepper. Place pie crust in a 9 inch pie plate. Layer the ham, bacon and cheese in to the bottom of the crust, then slowly add the egg mixture on the top. Bake for about 45 minutes or until egg mixture is set.
