Ingredients

In an UNGREASED 9x13 inch pan, mix

3 cups plain flour
2 cups sugar
½ cup cocoa
1 tsp each, soda and salt

Make three holes in the above mixture. In one pour 1 TBSP vinegar, in next put 2 tsp vanilla and in the third put ¾ cup cooking oil. Pour 2 cups water over all and mix well with a fork. Bake 45 minutes at 350 deg or until cake tests done.

Directions

If you must ice this cake, Here is a good easy choice:

Mix 1 stick melted butter, ½ cup milk and ¼ cup cocoa. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Beat in one box of confectioners sugar. If icing is too thick, add a little hot coffee to thin. Spread on cool cake. It’s crazy, but it’s good.
