Virginia College gives back to community

Virginia College opened the V's Student Cosmetology Services salon in April of 2012. It's a great opportunity for students to get hands-on experience, and the public can enjoy very inexpensive hair services.

Not only does Virginia College offer an affordable hair care alternative to the public, but they also give back to the community by sponsoring Cut-a-thons every Thursday.

You can stop by V's Salon on October 25 and November 1 between 3:30 and 5:00 p.m. You'll pay less than $5.00 for a haircut, and Virginia College will donate proceeds to the United Way of Greater Knoxville.
