Downtown Dandridge

Since 1783, the town of Dandridge has sat as a picturesque river town in the hills of East Tennessee. Unlike many old towns, though, Dandridge’s history is still visible on a walk down its still active main street.

Davy Crockett Tavern Museum

Located in Morristown, Tennessee, the Crockett Tavern Museum was built on the site of the boyhood home of Davy Crockett. It is a reconstruction of the 1790's John Crockett Tavern.

Rockin' the Docks

WindRock Park

Windrock Park is 72,000 acres of off-road fun! Windrock Park is the largest privately-owned off-road trail system in the country! Museum of Appalachia

The Museum tells the stories of Southern Appalachia mountain folk in their own words and through the artifacts they left behind. Cabins appear as though the family has just left to work in the fields, or go to Sunday meeting.

Fire on the Water

The 21st annual fireworks show 'Fire On The Water" on Lake Norris, TN will be June 28th this year. As the 3rd largest show in TN you won’t be surprised that we will have a great show. It's about 27 minutes of non-stop fireworks and will START AT DARK.

Synchronous Fireflies

Synchronous fireflies (Photinus carolinus) are one of at least 19 species of fireflies that live in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. They are the only species in America whose individuals can synchronize their flashing light patterns.

Tunes & Tales is a summer-long street performance event throughout downtown Gatlinburg featuring musical performers, cloggers, storytellers and artisans giving you a taste of Appalachian culture.

Tennessee Smokies Baseball

For a nine inning vacation, head to Smokies Stadium just off of I-40, exit 407. Check out future major league baseball talent while enjoying a day at the ballpark. The Smokies are a double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.

Rickard Ridge BBQ

All of the meat at Rickard Ridge BBQ is meticulously smoked by owner and BBQ Pitmaster Mark Rickard. Mark has been part of an award winning competitive BBQ team for several years.

Cove Lake State Park

Cove Lake’s 717 acres are situated in a beautiful mountain valley on the eastern edge of the Cumberland Plateau. Scenic nature trails lead through a diversity of wetlands and woodlands offering wildlife viewing for the nature enthusiast. A paved walking/bike trail provides easy access to all park facilities. Visitors can spend the day fishing or simply sitting back and capturing the picturesque vista Cove Lake offers.

Hatfield Knob Elk Viewing Area

The Hatfield Knob Elk Viewing Tower was erected with the help from volunteers of the Campbell Outdoor Recreation Association (CORA), the Tennessee Wildlife Federation, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, other volunteers, and TWRA personnel from Area 41, the Royal Blue Unit crew of the North Cumberland WMA, and TWRA elk biologist Steve Bennett.
