Soccer collies get ball rolling in tournament

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- These dogs are on the ball.

They are the world famous Soccer Collies, and they're here from their home in Florida to entertain and show off their fancy footwork at the American Youth Soccer Organization in Knoxville.

There are three here, two are pets, and one of them is even up for adoption.

They don't work for treats, only volunteer spirit.

Ms. Z and Bek are Mark Lukas's own pets he taught to play soccer.

The collies bring many smiles, ooh's and aww's from from the kids that are registering for the tournament, stopped to pet and throw a soccer ball to one of the pups.

The soccer collies are playing with 10 and 11 year olds at the opening ceremonies and at some of the fields on Wednesday.

Mark Lukas and his soccer collies were here in May visiting schools.

A third soccer collie is up for adoption.
