Volunteer Spirit: Stitching for soldiers

DOWNTOWN KNOXVILLE- Tenn (WVLT) -- More than 600 Quilts are on display at the Knoxville Convention Center for the American Quilter's Society show this week.

500 quilters from 32 countries competed for more than $44,000 in prize money.

For some, quilting is a hobby. For others, it is a trade, and some do it to give them away as gifts.
