KNOXVILLE Tenn (WVLT) -- Several Zumba instructors are volunteering their time and energy for breast cancer awareness this Saturday.
They will teach their Latin inspired fitness/dance moves during a Zumba-thon, Party in Pink.
And many teachers are bringing participants from their classes.
People who take Sandy Hazelwood's classes called "Zumba Knoxville" say it's always a great time with lots of fun gals and music, while burning calories, and they can't wait to help out the cause.
Sarah Wright says there are so many benefits to Zumba, she has lost over 30 pounds in recent months thanks to the exercise and feels more energized.
Jordona Berquist, who tells us she is in her 60's says anyone can do it, you just go at your own pace.
Sandy holds her classes at Friendship Church and at Faith Promise Church Monday - Thursday and on Saturdays.
Grab the link for more info on her classes and the Zumba-thon for breast cancer.
It's at 4pm at the YMCA in North Knoxville.
$15 on line or $20
Every penny will go to The Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer.
