Updated: 03/14/2012 - Marble Springs, home of Governor John Sevier (1745-1815), American frontiersman, soldier, and politician, was a leading figure during the frontier period in the Old Southwest and became the first governor of Tennesee. It is open to the public for tours with volunteers recreating life in the 1700's.
Updated: 03/14/2012 - The Lift for Life event is a bodyweight competition for reps: Bench, squat and dead lift. There is also a ladies event for the fittiest female. The event is June 4th from 10am to 2pm at The Rush Fitness Complex located at 8445 Kingston Pike. There will be prizes given out for the top competitors.
