KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knox County chapter of Tennessee Right to Life held a rally at Calvary Baptist Church Saturday afternoon, urging everyone to vote for Amendment 1.
If passed, the amendment would allow elected officials to introduce laws regarding abortion, including oversight of abortion facilities.
"It's the 41st anniversary. We have generation after generation of people that have lived with legalized abortion. So, we need to educate the importance of the sanity of life at all stages, and also we're educating today about our amendment, yes on One in November," said Leslie Hunse, educator with the Right to Life.
Nearly 400 people marched down to Tyson Park after the service.
