JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) -- Jackson police say a bullet came through a wall at an apartment complex and fractured a 1-year-old's skull.
According to The Jackson Sun, police said the bullet grazed the infant boy and did not strike his brain. The child was taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, where he was listed in critical condition.
Police said the shot came from outside the building late Monday night. Witnesses told police the shooter was among three men in a small red car.
