Knoxville (WVLT) - The stories of East Tennessee World War Two veterans stories will now be preserved forever.
The premier of the film "East Tennessee's Stories: World War II," kicked-off the Veteran's History Project Friday morning.
East Tennessee Public Television and East Tennessee Veterans Memorial Association partnered with the Library of Congress to honor east Tennessee veterans through the project.
The effort hopes to capture and preserve the histories for generations for years to come.
The project contains U.S. veterans' first-hand accounts of experiences during our nation's war efforts.
