Knoxville (WVLT) - UT Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Monday night at the corner of 20th Street and Caledonia Avenue.
The student victim told police five males approached him at about 9:45 p.m. and asked where the bowling alley was, and the victim said there was one in the University Center.
One of the suspects then lifted his shirt, showed a silver handgun in his waistband and demanded money from the victim.
The victim complied and the suspect walked away toward Terrace Avenue.
The victim was not injured.
The suspects were described as five black males wearing white t-shirts and blue jeans.
