KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) A Karns Middle School teacher has been placed on administrative leave this afternoon.
Knox County Schools spokesperson Russ Oaks says an investigation is now underway following allegations David Hylton engaged in inappropriate conduct with students.
Hylton teaches 7th grade Social Studies at the middle school.
Oaks says placing a teacher on paid administrative leave is standard procedure until the investigation is complete.
