Knox Storm Water Ordinance

Knoxville (WVLT)- Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam has sent notice to county officials regarding the city's intent to file a lawsuit over the a storm-water ordinance.

In September, commissioners gave final approval to a new storm-water ordinance.

The problem, it included nearly two dozen provisions that city officials had warned ahead of the vote would fall short of the agreement's terms.

County Mayor Mike Ragsdale has suggested the city and county form a join committee to review the provision and perhaps come to a compromise.
