Child Dies in East Tennessee Truck Crash

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- The Highway Patrol says a four-year-old boy who was thrown from a tractor-trailer cab in a crash has died at a Chattanooga hospital.

The child and his father were injured Tuesday morning when the rig ran out of control coming down Suck Creek Mountain and overturned.

Troopers identify the trucker as Reginald Dale of Madison, Alabama.

He's in critical condition at Erlanger Medical Center.
