A Tri-Cities television station is reporting that two teachers, and one preacher are among 40 people arrested in a Northeast Tennessee sex sting.
The arrests are part of a two-week undercover investigation of sex in city parks.
Undercover police made the arrests in Man Cave, where police say homosexual activity takes place in Winged Deer Park.
Police say some suspects proposing encounters and others led to men exposing themselves or groping officers.
The suspects from Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina ranged in age from 26 to 85.
WJHL-TV in Tri-Cities reports Brent Leach of Johnson City is a system Diagnostician with the Johnson City School system.
He is charged with disorderly conduct and indecent exposure,In that role.
WJHL reports officials with Johnson City Schools have now suspended Leach with pay pending an investigation into the charges against him.
WJHL-TV also reports James Thayer of Bristol, is a teacher at Bluff City Middle School.
He is charged with disorderly conduct.
According to Tricities.com, Sullivan County School Board attorney Pat Hull confirmed that Thayer is now on paid leave while the school system looks into the case and gathers facts about the charges.
WJHL also reports Robert Riley was arrested and charged with Indecent exposure.
The Chairman of the Deacons at First Baptist Church in Rogersville told WJHL that Riley resigned Wednesday from his position as pastor.
