Knoxville (WVLT) -- Two more alerts have been sent out to University of Tennessee students in the wake of several new assault investigations.

The first of the two alerts was sent out early Saturday afternoon.

It mentioned two robberies and a purse snatching that took place earlier that day.

The first occurred at 4:30 AM near Knoxville Place Apartments on White Avenue.

Police say a man who was not a student was assaulted by three black males wearing black clothing.

The suspects stole the victims wallet and fled in a mid-90s model Nissan driven by a white female.

Two hours and three blocks away, a armed robbery occurred at the intersection of 16th Street and Laurel Avenue.

This time two black males assaulted a male student and took his wallet.

According to the victim, both robbers were about 20 years old.

On of them was short and stocky, clean-shaven and nicely dressed.

The other was about 5'10 with a lean build, also clean shaven, and wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

He told police both also got away in a vehicle driven by a white female.

A third incident occurred around 7:00 AM in front of the Hess Hall student dormitory.

UTPD says a black male in his early to mid 20s hit or shoved a female student and took her purse.

The victim described the suspect as 6'2, 200 lbs. with a muscular build, brown or black hair, black eyes and a close cut mustache and beard.

She also said he had a deep voice and wore a dew rag, white t-shirt, blue jean shorts and distinct blue and white shoes.

None of the victims suffered serious injuries.

A second alert was issued that evening around 9:00 PM.

It informed students of an investigation into a possible sexual assault on The Hill.

According to UTPD, it happened in an "unidentified academic building."

The victim told police the suspect was a white male around 20 years old, 5'8 to 5'10 with an average build.

An alert was issued earlier this week for an armed robbery on the corner of 20th St. and Caledonia Ave.

That incident happened late Monday night when five black males wearing blue jeans and white t-shirts approached for directions.

One of the five then held the student at gunpoint and demanded money.

He complied and they walked away toward Terrace Avenue.

All five incidents are still under investigation.
