School Back in Session Wednesday for Jefferson County

Jefferson County (WVLT) - The water is back on and classes will be back in session in Jefferson County.

A pipe at the Jefferson City Water Treatment Plant broke on Sunday morning that's used to supply water to Dandridge and Shady Grove.

County officials called off classes Monday and Tuesday for Jefferson County Schools because of the water problem.

Officials had the broken line repaired Monday night and had to fill the water tanks.

Now, residents are reporting their water has been restored.

And officials announced there will be school on Wednesday.
