Pilot Founder Donates $5M to U.T.

Knoxville (WVLT) - Pilot Founder Jim Haslam and his wife are donating $5 Million to U.T.

Jim and Natalie Haslam both graduated from U.T. in 1952.

The university says the money is in addition to the more than $32 Million the Haslams donated last year, to benefit several campus programs.

The new donation will fund the new Haslam Family Scholars Program and Haslam Family Professorship/Chair Endowment.
