UPDATE: Elderly Woman Falls Down Knox County Ravine

Knoxville (WVLT) - A 90-year-old Knoxville woman is recovering after falling down a ravine.

The Knoxville Volunteer Rescue Squad says the 91-year-old woman slipped on some weeds in her back yard and fell 65 feet down a ravine to a rock below on Bull Run Valley Road.

The rescue squad says she was there for about three hours before she was finally found. Thankfully, she only suffered some bumps and bruises.

She was taken to UT Medical Center for observation.
