Knoxville (WVLT) – We have learned that the Knox County teacher who posted partially nude photos of herself on the Internet has been reassigned to another position in the Knox County School System.
Melinda England, 28, was teaching at Inskip Elementary School when the photos, which some call questionable, were discovered on the Internet.
Knox County School System spokesperson Russ Oaks says England has been moved to the student services office, coordinating student programs.
Oaks says this is a temporary action that was taken yesterday while the school system reviews the case.
He has gone on record as saying the school superintendent felt the media attention was distracting to England and her students.
This evening on Volunteer TV News at 5:30, we'll take a look at the Tennessee Code of Ethics for Teachers and we'll have an exclusive interview with a member of the State Department of Education.
