Missing Tennessee Lawmaker Found Safe at Casino

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Nashville police say that missing state Representative Rob Briley has been found in a Mississippi casino.

Briley had checked himself out of a rehabilitation center, and his brother asked police to help find him because he feared he might be suicidal.

But the Democratic lawmaker from Nashville was found in a Tunica, Mississippi, casino. Officers said he was calm and coherent, and they asked him to call his family.

Briley was arrested last month after police said he led them on a 100-mph chase and failed a roadside sobriety test.

The arrest report shows that Briley told officers he was dizzy from anti-depression medications.
