NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Country music singer Joe Nichols is in rehab for treatment for substance abuse.
His management company, Lytle Management, posted a statement yesterday on his Web site that says Nichols has alluded to his struggles with substance abuse in comments over the past year.
The statement says he entered the program to become healthier and deal with long-standing issues. It did not say when Nichols entered the treatment program.
His most recent album, "Real Things," was released by Universal South last month. He has had hits with "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" and "Brokenheartsville."
