JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- Five teenagers have been charged with arson after reportedly confessing to setting fires that caused an estimated $200,000 in damages.
Their arrests stemmed from a tip given to the Washington County Sheriff's Office regarding several fires intentionally set during the last seven months.
Investigators said the group seemed to be addicted to setting fires.
Charged with numerous arson-related offenses were 19-year-old Jordan Beckett, 18-year-old Cory Carnella, and 19-year-old Spencer Nelson, all of Jonesborough; and 19-year-old Samuel Mousolf of Telford and 19-year-old Dustin Shaw of Limestone.
