KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) - Knoxville Police are searching for suspects in connection with a hit and run crash that left a pedestrian dead.
KPD Sergeant Brian Malone says the accident happened on Mayfield Avenue Thursday afternoon.
Malone says a pedestrian hit by a car was killed.
Police are not releasing any details about the victim.
Sergeant Malone says officers are looking for a red Toyota Celica with heavy front end damage in connection with the accident.
Sgt. Malone says a white man was driving the Celica.
