Knoxville (WVLT) - Knoxville Police are trying to find a gunman in a Friday afternoon shooting of a juvenile.
Police say a juvenile boy told them he was walking down South Elmwood Drive around six Friday evening when a carload of men approached him and tried to rob him.
When he wouldn't cooperate with him, police say they shot him in the leg.
The boy was taken to UT Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
