WHITLEY CITY, Ky (WVLT) -- A Kentucky man who was caught after a police chase into Tennessee has been indicted in connection with the murder of his mother and the shooting of his father.
Dustin Cordell, 22, faces murder and first degree assault charges.
Kentucky State troopers say Cordell shot and killed his mother and injured his father at their home in Pine Knot, in McCreary County, on September 6th.
Troopers say Cordell then led them on a high speed chase into Campbell County.
Cordell was charged with evading and resisting arrest in Tennessee, but it's unknown when or if he'll face those charges.
