Knoxville (WVLT) – A man and woman have been arrested for an early morning carjacking, but one of the suspects is still on the loose.
It happened around 2:30 AM Sunday when police responded to the 3200 block of E. Magnolia Ave., where a man claimed her had just been carjacked a few blocks away near the intersection of E. Magnolia and Prosser Rd.
He described his vehicle to police as well as the three suspects, two black men and a black woman.
Five minutes later, the stolen vehicle was pulled over and a man and woman were taken into custody.
The victim was taken to Baptist Hospital where he was treated for a small non-life threatening cut to his cheek.
