Knoxville (WVLT) -- Police are looking for the person that shot a man Sunday night in North Knoxville.
At around 9:46 PM, the victim was shot in front at 6016 Fountain Road.
He managed to move a few houses down where he knocked on a strangers door and asked for help.
Knoxville Police arrived on scene and the victim was taken to UT Medical Center with a gunshot to his left calf.
Since then, investigators have recovered the 9 mm shell casing.
They say the victim has not been cooperative, but their investigation is still ongoing.
