Sevier County Contractor Critically Injured in Fall

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- A Sevier County businessman and contractor has been critically injured in a fall.

Lester Bohanan, 68, is listed in critical condition at UT Medical Center Tuesday morning.

His half brother, Duane Dodgen says Bohanan and his son Danny were feeding horses at a barn at 450 Collier Road in Sevierville, Monday evening.

Dodgen says Danny left to close a gate and when he returned discovered Bohanan had fallen from the loft of the barn.

Sevierville Firefighters responded to the scene and helped get Bohanan into the Lifestar helicopter.

Dodgen says Bohanan is suffering from serious neck injuries, but the family should know more about his injuries later Tuesday.

Dodgen says Bohanan was a contractor and had at one time owned some businesses is Sevier County.
