Knox County (WVLT) - The Knoxville News Sentinel is once again offering free flu shots and raising money for their Empty Stocking Fund.
On Saturday, November 3, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, they offering free flu shots at several Knox County high schools.
Free Flu Shot Saturday is the largest fundraiser for the Sentinel's Empty Stocking Fund, which helps make the holidays brighter for people across the area.
Shots are offered at Austin-East High School, Farragut High School, Halls High School, South Doyle Middle School, and West High School.
Donations are accepted but are not required.
The program relies heavily on corporate and foundation donations to pay for the shots.
