Sevier County (WVLT) - Police have arrested a Seymour man accused of robbing a home early Wednesday morning.
Emergency dispatchers received a call just after 11:30 a.m. of a man breaking a window and climbing into a home on Sand Plant Road in Seymour.
When officers arrived at the scene, they spotted a man coming out of the woods near the home with a rifle.
The officers ordered him to drop the weapon and say he complied and they were able to take him into custody.
Investigators say the suspect, David Sifford, 22, had several weapons and jewelry that had been taken from the home.
He is charged with aggravated burglary.
