Dog the Bounty Hunter Suspended

(WVLT/AP) - The A&E cable channel has suspended production of the reality show starring bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman after his son sold a phone tape containing Chapman's use of a racial slur.

The National Enquirer's website posted audio of Chapman repeatedly using the "N" word to describe his son's black girlfriend.

Chapman released a statement of apology, saying "I never should have used that term."

He also said the audio was taken out of context.
