CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Three soldiers, including one from Tennessee, died in Iraq when their unit was attacked by enemy forces.
Military officials identified the Tennessee soldier as Pfc. Rush M. Jenkins, a 22-year-old Clarksvillian.
The unit was hit with small fire arms and bombs in Salman Pak, Iraq.
All three were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Ga.
