Morristown, Hamblen County (WVLT) - A man is in the hospital with after crashing his truck into a Subway restaurant.
Officers with the Morristown Police Department believe Greg Floyd was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck eastbound on West Andrew Johnson Highway at about 8:25 a.m. Monday morning, when he crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, then left the roadway and went into a parking lot.
They say the truck drove through the parking lot, hit a tree, and then hit the Subway building.
There was an employee in the restaurant at the time but that employee was not hurt.
Paramedics took the man to U.T. Medical Center by Lifestar.
Floyd is in stable condition.
Morristown Police believe may have passed out causing him to veer off the roadway.
Police are still investigating what caused the crash.
