LCUB Warning You About Scam

Lenior City (WVLT) - The Lenior City Utilities Board is issuing a warning to their customers about a scam.

They say if anyone comes to your home claiming to represent LCUB and trying to collect cash or credit card numbers, you should call the police.

They say this is not he procedure they use and that person is trying to steal your money.

LCUB says in collection situations, they notify the customer that the meter is about to be pulled and then they return on a specified date to pull the meter.

LCUB employees also all have employee identification badges.
