Woman Charged with Knoxville Man's Murder

Knoxville (WVLT) -- An woman is now charged with the stabbing murder of a Knoxville man.

On October 13th, Knoxville officers responded to a home on Bertie Street in South Knoxville.

Paramedics took 29 year-old Djuansay Freeman, who had at least one stab wound, to U.T. Medical Center, where he later died.

Police conducted several interviews and presented a cast against 20 year-old Tyeshia Stewart.

They returned an indictment of second degree murder against her.

Officers arrested Stewart Tuesday morning.

She is now in the Knox County Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
