Funeral Arrangements Set For Woman Attacked By Dogs

Knox County (WVLT) - Funeral arrangements for a Knox County woman mauled to death by two pit bulls earlier this week are being released.

The family of Jennifer Lowe will receive friends at the Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville this Friday from six to nine.

The funeral is at 1:00 Saturday afternoon.

She'll be laid to rest at Winona Cemetery.

Sheriff's deputies and animal control officers returned to Sam Lee Road Tuesday to gather evidence to present to the District Attorney.

So far no charges have been filed against the dogs owner, Charles Smallwood.

The second pitbull involved in the deadly attack has been located, and is in the Knox County Sheriff's Department's custody.
