Legendary Reds Player, Broadcaster Dies

CINCINNATI, Ohio (WVLT) -- Former pitcher and Cincinnati Reds broadcaster Joe Nuxhall has died.

Nuxhall made history in 1944, when at 15 years old, he became the youngest player to play in a major league baseball game.

He's probably most known for his phrase, "rounding third, and heading for home," that he used during his decades as a broadcaster for the Reds.

The "Ol Lefthander" as he was known was 79.
