Sevierville Police Arrest Alleged Charity Jar Thief

Sevierville (WVLT) -- Sevierville Police and the Sevier County Sheriff's Department have arrested the woman who they say was stealing from the donation jars at several county businesses.

Katrina S. Kinzle, 22 has been charged with Criminal Impersonation and misdemeanor theft.

Investigators say they have yet to determine how much she got from the jars.

The police received several calls with information after a photo of the woman robbing a jar appeared Thursday in the media.

Detectives were able to positively identify her on Friday morning.

She was arrested in Knoxville and transported to the Sevier County Jail for booking.
