Local Pets Sit On Santa's Lap

Knoxville (WVLT) -- On Saturday, some local pets got a chance to tell Santa exactly what they want for Christmas.

The occasion was for Young Williams Animal Center's annual "Santa Claws" fundraiser.

Owners could bring any pet from dogs and cats to hamsters and bunnies.

Money raised went to provide care and comfort for animals before adoption.

The event will run three more times, including Sunday and then again next week on December 1st and 2nd.

Young-Williams is located at the corner of Sutherland and Division.
