Gas Prices Not Expected To Fall For Holidays

Undated (WVLT) - If you're one of the millions of people planning on driving to your upcoming thanksgiving holiday destination, be prepared to pay a little more for gas.

The Lundberg Survey says the average price has risen about thirteen cents nationwide over the last two weeks.

The national average is $3.09 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, while in Knoxville it's a little lower at $2.97.

Despite those prices, AAA says it's going to be a record year on the road, with 38.7 million americans traveling more than 50 miles from home for Thanksgiving.
