Cumberland County (WVLT) -- A man is facing first degree murder charges after police discovered another man dead with a gunshot wound.
Saturday morning, Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies and troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a home on Lantana Road after a report of a death.
They found 37 year-old Sam Pugh dead from a gunshot wound.
Officers say their investigation lead them to 30 year-old Stephen Yerian.
They are not saying what the motive may be or what evidence they have against him, but Yerian is now charged with first degree murder.
He is being held in the Cumberland County Jail on $500,000 bond, until his first court appearance next Monday.
